Yesterday, Google launched a new edition to their arsenal of software: Google Enterprise. This includes Gmail, Calendar, Voice Chat (which connects to Gmail contacts…nice feature..) and web hosting. This sounds great, but i’m very interested in the hosting service. Will websites that utilize this gain an advantage over websites hosted elsewhere? Google have stated updates performed on Google hosted pages will be “indexed in a few hours” – This is definitely an online marketing opportunity before this new service becomes saturated with new sites.
